Unconditional Love

"Unconditional Love"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

Dogs are amazing animals. I am so glad God created them!

They show a level of love that we as humans have trouble displaying. We may show conditional love based on how we are treated or hold a grudge against someone and haven't forgiven them.

Dogs are there for us and comfort us through our pain, hurt, grief and sadness. They comfort with their unconditional love.

What can we learn from dogs? Love unconditionally.

This photo is of Lucy, my sister-in-law’s dog who passed away a few years ago. Just as my dogs helped me through so much, so did Lucy help her.

4 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a

Halloween Love Bug

"Halloween Love Bug"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

Ginger is the sweetest dog who belongs to my husband’s aunt. I care for Ginger frequently as I am helping his aunt.

I bought Ginger a Halloween costume so I could photograph her. The two hardest parts were picking out the perfect costume and getting her to sit still long enough to photograph her.

My husband helped me. He sat next to her on the rock and held her leash so she wouldn’t run off. Ginger has a lot of energy and does not like sit still.

It was a juggling act! By the time I got her costume ready and walked to my tripod and camera, she would move. After many attempts, she finally let me take a decent shot.

Happy early Halloween!!

Tiny Steps

“Tiny Steps”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

This is Ginger a Yorkshire terrier that belongs to my husband's aunt. I photographed her when she was only seven weeks old.

I spent the morning photographing her and put her in several places for her photo shoot. This was the first day she walked on grass.

She was so cute when she was a puppy!

You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down!

"You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down!"

I tried three different times to put Ginger in the basket after she was asleep.  Each time she immediately woke up; she had a different photo shoot in mind!

Wide awake!!

Not again Aunt Judy!

I was trying to catch the morning light on her while she was in her pajamas!

Today was National wear red day to support the fight against heart disease in women!   Ginger says, "Go Red for women's heart disease!" She sported her red & white cheerleading outfit today....pom poms too!

Puppy Dog Eyes

"Puppy Dog Eyes"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I have used this week to highlight Ginger the new puppy that my husband's aunt recently bought.   Another post can be found here. This is my obsessive photo shoot of her:)
We stuck her in a planter which was about 18 inches off of the ground.

She was intrigued by us whistling.

"My" "Barnyard Baby."  I wish she was mine:)

My son gave her tiny treats to get her to stay in the pot, hence the reason her tongue is out:)

It's a big world out there!

She was like a jack in the box, popping her head in and out of the pot:)

Peek-a-boo!

I'm worn out!  Are we finished yet?

Can I get down please?

Hopefully, you were not too bored looking at Ginger's photo shoot!  Yes, I am obsessed with her!

Lily

My cousin's dog Lily was my photo shoot yesterday.  She is a cute three year old Yorkshire Terrier.  With the help of her mom and treats the day went well.

She loves to run, and we let her have freedom to get out her puppy power.

It was like she was saying, "Okay, I've sat like you told me to.....where's my treat?"

Boo

"Boo"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

My assistant photographer Boo (my dog) followed me outside to help me for the Digital Photography School's Weekly Photography Challenge.  The theme was titled, "backyard."  There wasn't much to photograph, so Boo became my subject in the front yard:)

P.S. The special words to get her to tilt her head are squirrel and treat!!
