Unconditional Love

"Unconditional Love"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

Dogs are amazing animals. I am so glad God created them!

They show a level of love that we as humans have trouble displaying. We may show conditional love based on how we are treated or hold a grudge against someone and haven't forgiven them.

Dogs are there for us and comfort us through our pain, hurt, grief and sadness. They comfort with their unconditional love.

What can we learn from dogs? Love unconditionally.

This photo is of Lucy, my sister-in-law’s dog who passed away a few years ago. Just as my dogs helped me through so much, so did Lucy help her.

4 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a

Missing Ellie Mae

"Missing Ellie Mae"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

This is Claudia and my dad's dog Ellie Mae. She was a very sweet dog and loved by so many.

Ellie had a heart murmur and passed away unexpectedly last month. She will be truly missed.

My extended family went on vacation last month, and Ellie went too. Dad had a milk crate mounted on the back of his bike for her to ride in. All I had to do was ask, "Do you want to go for a bike ride?" She would get very excited and stare at the bike until I put her in the crate. Here are a few cell phone photos of her.

I took her for many rides around the lake. The last time I took her for a ride, I thought we were going to get drenched. I looked at the weather map before we left and saw rain coming but decided to take her for a quick ride. When I got almost half way around the lake, I saw the rain coming over the mountain!

I immediately turned around and as I peddled very quickly, I told her we were going to get wet. Luckily, we made it back to the house!

We all miss you Ellie Mae!!

Tiny Steps

“Tiny Steps”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

This is Ginger a Yorkshire terrier that belongs to my husband's aunt. I photographed her when she was only seven weeks old.

I spent the morning photographing her and put her in several places for her photo shoot. This was the first day she walked on grass.

She was so cute when she was a puppy!

Bea

"Bea"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I set out to photograph birds on St. Simons Island, Georgia when I met Bea.  Bea was in the distance enjoying the water.

Her owner David was resting on the beach.  When I told him I was photographing birds, he suggested I photograph Bea because she was as close to wildlife as I could get.

Sulu's Tea Party

"Sulu's Tea Party"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

My daughter came home from college and brought home her new Chinese Dwarf hampster named Sulu.  I told her I wanted to do a photo shoot of Sulu.

I remembered my daughter had a little teacup set when she was young, and I knew it would be the perfect size to put Sulu in.  Sulu did not cooperate to much.  She either wanted to stay in the teacup or she did not want to get in it.  We ended up getting several good shots.
