Eyes Fixed

“Eyes Fixed”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I found this beautiful black labrador retriever while I was on the beach on St. Simons Island, Georgia. She was in the distance enjoying the water.

Her owner, David, was resting on the beach. When I told him I was photographing birds, he suggested I photograph Bea because she was as close to wildlife as I could get. She had her eyes fixed on something!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

"Ho! Ho! Ho!"

Ginger, (a Yorkshire terrier) is quite the mess. Trying to get her to sit still with a Santa hat on made for an interesting shoot:) I love the natural light shining through the blinds, which is reflected in her eye.

Barley in Bluebonnets

“Barley in Bluebonnets”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I enjoyed photographing Barley while I was in Luling, Texas in April. He was a very good model and let me photograph him using various lenses.

I had to use my Lensbaby Composer Pro lens for a class. I love how it blurs outside the sweet spot of focus.

Missing Ellie Mae

"Missing Ellie Mae"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

This is Claudia and my dad's dog Ellie Mae. She was a very sweet dog and loved by so many.

Ellie had a heart murmur and passed away unexpectedly last month. She will be truly missed.

My extended family went on vacation last month, and Ellie went too. Dad had a milk crate mounted on the back of his bike for her to ride in. All I had to do was ask, "Do you want to go for a bike ride?" She would get very excited and stare at the bike until I put her in the crate. Here are a few cell phone photos of her.

I took her for many rides around the lake. The last time I took her for a ride, I thought we were going to get drenched. I looked at the weather map before we left and saw rain coming but decided to take her for a quick ride. When I got almost half way around the lake, I saw the rain coming over the mountain!

I immediately turned around and as I peddled very quickly, I told her we were going to get wet. Luckily, we made it back to the house!

We all miss you Ellie Mae!!

Remi

"Remi"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

This is Remi my niece's and her boyfriend's new Chocolate lab puppy.

I just met Remi the day I photographed him.

I got my niece's boyfriend to help me as puppies don't like to sit still when they are being photographed.

Her boyfriend did a good job of constantly putting him in the correct spot when Remi started to run away.

I love his green eyes!

You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down!

"You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down!"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I tried three different times to put Ginger in the basket after she was asleep.  Each time she immediately woke up; she had a different photo shoot in mind!

Wide awake!!

Not again Aunt Judy!

I was trying to catch the morning light on her while she was in her pajamas!
