Posed Poppy

“Posed Poppy”

Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I love the field of poppies at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia—they explode with color. It will stop you in your tracks.

This image was taken in May 2018. I wonder if they are shining their pretty little heads off right now.

Clever

Capturing this photo of a snail on a poppy pod was a lot of fun. My friend, Heather and I went to the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, and she found many critters for us to photograph.

This snail was a great model. We put him on the pod and waited for him to come out of his shell. Heather said, “Do you want me to use my purple sweater as a background?” What a brilliant idea! You can even se our fingerprints on the pod.

I hope you like it.

Flowing

“Flowing”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

As we start Easter week, I wanted to post a photograph that depicted a reflection of Jesus.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins. His blood ran red, and He died a horrific death. Note the cross in the middle of the poppy with its flowing marks on the right side as though blood flowed down.

The good news is we celebrate Easter because He rose again!

If you don’t know Him personally, that is my prayer for you. I couldn’t do it without Him!

It is as easy as ABC:
A — Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23)
B — Believe that Jesus, God’s only son, was born and died on the cross for your sins. (Acts 16:31)
C — Confess and repent of your sins and ask Him to be Lord of your life. (1 John 1:9)

The Greatest Love

"The Greatest Love”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

My mouth was agape as I saw the intricate details inside the poppy—a stunning white cross. How beautifully crafted did the Lord create everything!

On this Valentine’s week, consider the greatest love of all. It did not come packaged in a box of chocolate candy or red roses it came when Jesus died on the cross for you.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Stand Tall

“Stand Tall”
Judy Royal GlennPhotography

Since Valentine’s Day is this week, I wanted to post flower photos. This one poppy stands among a whole field of others. In and of itself, it is beautiful, but with the other flowers around it, the scene becomes even prettier.

You are one in a million too and you are special. Stand tall and shine.

The outside isn’t what is important—it’s what is on the inside! I can’t wait to share with you Wednesday’s post!

The poppies were beautiful recently at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. It was eye candy!
