“A Beary Wet Day!”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography
I wanted to post this bear video because today it is
National Black Bear Day! Black bears are my favorite animal to photograph.
This yearling
black bear was past John Oliver’s Cabin in the pouring down rain. He was
soaking wet and minding his own business. He watched the entourage of people
passing by along the winding Cades Cove Loop Road.
After a full belly, he scampered up the tree overhead
and tried to take a nap.
There was a lot of noise from all the onlookers, so I
don’t know how much sleep he got. At the end of the video, he even looks up for
us.
Isn’t he adorable? To purchase wildlife and nature fine art prints, please visit my website:

How sweet! He looked up just for y'all, Judy. I love the sound of the rain drops in the trees.
