I went to the Bear Hollow Zoo in Athens, Georgia last week to photograph the owls at the zoo. Alton looks like a normal Barred owl until he faces forward.
They think he was hit by a car. His eye was surgically removed. He's still a beautiful owl:)
We all are beautiful - even though we've been hit by a few "cars" in our lives!
