Looking Forward to 2017

“Looking Forward to 2017”

Immature White Ibis

I love photography so much because I never know what I will find. I pray and ask the Lord to show me or to bring to me what He wants me to photograph. He blesses me all the time, and I am hardly disappointed.

Oh, the stories of neat miracles I could share with you!
Happy New Year!!

Opportunistic Thief

"Opportunistic Thief"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I don't see white ibises very often, but my last trip to St. Simons also proved productive for finding a few. They are not quite as skid-dish as some of the other water birds.

A side note I learned about this bird is it is an "opportunistic thief." It will "steal food from other wading birds and even snatch nest-building material from other ibises in its own colony."
