Buster

"Buster"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I met Buster while I was at The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.  In the Antler Hill Village, there is a farm which has goats, roosters, and a few horses.  A sweet lady that worked there told me the names of some of the animals.

I love the knobby knees on this little guy and the smile it gave me!

Ready To Fire

I have never had the opportunity to observe a baby goat (kid) nursing.  The baby goat aggressively jabbed at the mother's udders repeatedly while it was feeding.  I felt sorry for the mother goat.

New Life

I originally got my husband to stop on the side of the road because I saw a goat on top of a huge hay bale.  The goat jumped off before I could fire a shot, but I was thrilled to find two baby goats (kids) to photograph.  This baby goat still had its umbilical cord attached.
