Journey North 2022

“Journey North 2022”

Judy Royal Glenn Photography

The monarch butterflies are inching closer and closer to Tennessee. Someone spotted a monarch in LaGrange, Georgia, on March 6, 2022—that's half-way there. I am so excited!

Why would I bring this up? If you are new to following me, I raise monarch butterflies from egg to releasing the butterfly. I tag them with a special tag from Monarch Watch that tracks their journey back to Mexico in the fall.

To learn more about tagging monarch butterflies, go to: https://monarchwatch.org/tagging/

To see an up-to-date map of the monarch’s migration, go to journeynorth.org and scroll through the maps section until you see “Monarch Adult Sighted.

Have a blessed day!
