Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow

My dad sent my entire family and our extended family on a cruise to the Bahamas for Thanksgiving!  There were twenty-two of us all together.  We had a blast:)

As we were headed out of port, I noticed the biggest rainbow I have ever seen in my life.

The shrimp boat will give you some perspective.

Curly, Larry, and Moe!

I knew this may be one of my last photo sessions before winter strikes!  I got up early to go to the beach and asked the Lord to bring birds so I could take photos.  When I got to the beach, I noticed two very large birds near the shore!  They were pelicans!  As I got closer, I noticed one of the pelicans was resting. Then I saw a seagull next to the pelican.  Why would a seagull want to hang out with the big boys, I'll never know?!

Well, better late than never.  I went on a cruise this week and had two posts scheduled to publish while I was gone.  When I looked tonight....they weren't published!  Sorry:)

A "Knock" At The Door!

I went to the door to let my dog out and as I opened the door, she stopped and stared at the door frame.  I looked down to find this little fellow.

Notice the appearance of his fake eyes!  Don't be deceived at the outside appearance of a person, animal, or object, for hidden inside could be something very beautiful!

An Optical Illusion!

I just love this flower with the neat little green slits in the back of the flower.  Well.....I thought they were slits until I went back to the Botanical Garden the next time and saw the flower again.  It is an optical illusion! There appears to be slits so you can see the background behind the flower, but the green coloring is part of the flower!!  Kinda neat:)

This is a different flower that shows it a little better!

Under The Lily Pad Flower

I had a little help with this photo. The Lord once again answered my prayer!  The odds of taking a photo of a lily pad flower and a frog just happened to be there......maybe a million to one?

Again, I was amazed by God's sense of humor.  Click on this photo for a closer view so you can see the little flowers that look like jelly beans!  Amazing:)  I went back to get a better photo and the "jelly beans" had dried up:(

Don't You Love My Pretty Eyelashes?

My son was my assistant photographer and helped me stage this photo. While we were on our safari, he threw food out of the window.  The ostrich at one point had his head in our SUV.  Hence, the reason we can see its eyelashes so well!
