Worry Not

“Worry Not”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

This beautiful clasping coneflower stands out above all the rest at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Athens, Georgia.

Matthew 28:6 “And why do you worry about your clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these. 30 If that is not how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”

In Remembrance

“In Remembrance”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

The terrible memories of 9/11 are part of our past as a nation, but they do not define us. I wanted to honor all those lost by posting a photograph of a lily.

Lilies symbolize so many things. The calla lily has been associated with faith, purity, and holiness.

A Small Reminder

“A Small Reminder”
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

My peony bloomed for the first time this year. My husband’s aunt had it in her front yard. She gave me the plant, and I planted it near my sidewalk to my front door. It will always remind me of her.

Do you have plants or flowers that were given to you that remind you of them?
