When I Grow Up

“When I Grow Up”

I loved seeing these grey-headed cone flowers at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. They are stunning flowers–I love their slender, yellow petals.

The smaller coneflower looks up to the larger one and knows it will be just as beautiful one day!

Worry Not

“Worry Not”

This beautiful clasping coneflower stands out above all the rest at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Athens, Georgia.

Matthew 28:6 “And why do you worry about your clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these. 30 If that is not how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”

Beauty till the End

"Beauty till the End"

While photographing at the State Botanical Garden yesterday, my eye was drawn to this dying purple coneflower. Even though the flower was almost dead, I saw its beauty—the last glimmer of color screamed for someone to notice—and I did!
