“Trapped”

My neighbor asked me if I had seen the deer. I had
not but hoped to photograph them since it was right behind where I live.
I am constantly looking out my window to see if there
is any wildlife, and this time, I was in luck. A doe and her two mature fawns
walked onto the peninsula, but being surrounded by water, they had no escape
route.
I grabbed my camera and headed towards the peninsula.
I got the shots I wanted, so I retreated so they could leave. It was a
beautiful sight.
