“Funny Looking Owl”

Recently, I went hiking off
the orange trail at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia to find owls in their nesting cavities. I came
up short but was delighted to find this little critter.
Pondering what to title the
piece, my first thought was, “You are not an Owl!” But, I kind of like my
husbands better, so I used his.
