Ma Berry, the female bald
eagle who nests at Berry College, gave me the privilege of a flyby on Saturday.
She was roosting in one of her favorite pine trees at sunrise then flew very
near me. Boy, was I excited!
Notice how Ma Berry’s foot
dangles as she flies.

What a majestic bird! I loved seeing Bald Eagles when I visited the US last!
