This male
ruby-throated hummingbird stopped by to feed on the Japanese iris. I now refer
to the iris as Jason’s iris. Jason was a former worker at the State Botanical
Garden of Georgia. This was Jason’s favorite iris. He was tragically killed in
a car accident in 2012.
