I came up with this title as I was telling my husband I could look at this photo "all day long!" Birds bring me so much joy; I love taking pictures of them. I went out this past Saturday and took this photo.

No Ear Has Heard

"However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"-- (NIV, 1 Corinthians 2.9)
I look forward to what God has prepared for me in this life and in eternity! It does seem uneasy at times, especially when I have come to a place in my life where my future is so uncertain! This uncertain time in my life has made me focus on living day to day because I don't really even know what next week will bring! But, God is in control, so I am at peace!

Contentment

I went through a lot to take this photo. I saw this duck sitting at the end of a dock and wanted to take some photos. I didn't want to scare him, so slowly I inched closer to him. I wasn't completely satisfied with the angle of my shots, so I sat down on the dock which had duck poop all over it. I wanted to get even closer, so I scooted from a seated position closer and closer.....across the poop covered dock and all. The things I will do to get just the right shot!

I never thought I would see beauty in a cactus until I saw these.
There was just a simple beauty about them.
I guess you would say they had a hidden beauty that you would not see until you really look.
