“A Blanket of Clouds”

A blanket of clouds surrounded the Utsasquidi tree in Cades Cove, Tennessee in May. I named this tree in honor of the Cherokee. The name means bent in their language. I call it the UT tree for short.
It is one of my favorite trees to photograph
in Cades Cove. It was a beautiful sight. I think my mouth dropped as I saw the
tree.
