"Under a Veil of Smoke Once Again"

It’s been a long time since
the Iron Horse was veiled in smoke. The first occurrence was in the 1950’s on
the campus of UGA as students did not think highly of the 2-ton sculpture and tried
to set it on fire.
Recently, smoke has surrounded
the Iron Horse once again as wildfires in Georgia have burned for weeks pushing
smoke into the area. The Iron Horse is unphased, but as it stands watch, it
hopes the fires will be extinguished soon.
