Who Am I?

"Who Am I?"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I went toThe State Botanical Garden of Georgia yesterday, and they hard the bird feeders full, so the birds and chipmunks were happy!

I have a hard time identifying birds and usually get it wrong, so I will not try.  Anyone know "Who Am I?"  A friend answered for me:   American goldfinch in his/her winter color.

Puppy Dog Eyes

"Puppy Dog Eyes"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I have used this week to highlight Ginger the new puppy that my husband's aunt recently bought.   Another post can be found here. This is my obsessive photo shoot of her:)
We stuck her in a planter which was about 18 inches off of the ground.

She was intrigued by us whistling.

"My" "Barnyard Baby."  I wish she was mine:)

My son gave her tiny treats to get her to stay in the pot, hence the reason her tongue is out:)

It's a big world out there!

She was like a jack in the box, popping her head in and out of the pot:)

Peek-a-boo!

I'm worn out!  Are we finished yet?

Can I get down please?

Hopefully, you were not too bored looking at Ginger's photo shoot!  Yes, I am obsessed with her!

When I'm Big Enough...

"When I'm Big Enough..."
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

Meet Ginger; she belongs to my husband's aunt. She is only 7 or 8 weeks old. This was the first day she had been on grass.  She loves being outside!  I am going to use this week to highlight photos of her:)

"When I'm Big Enough".....I want to help too!!

Paperbark Maple

"Paperbark Maple"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I am trying to branch out with my photography. My favorite things to photograph are still flowers and birds......especially hummingbirds. Since flowers are limited and hummers haven't migrate back yet, it is a great time to search for different things. The color and texture of this Paperbark Maple caught my eye at my favorite place in the world: The State Botanical Garden of Georgia!

DEAD END

"DEAD END"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I was extremely intrigued by this sign, so much so when I drove past it, I turned around and went back to photograph it.  I had never seen anything like it before.  The implications are many......I'll leave you to ponder them.

Early Risers

"Early Risers"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

I am not an early riser, but this particular morning a had a great mission in mind.  It was the morning I was looking for the Snowy Owl on St. Simons Island, Georgia.  My dad suggested I take pictures of the sun rising. I did so then hunted for the Snowy Owl.

I posted the photos of the Snowy Owl at sunrise, but in case you did not see them, here is one shot:)

For those who are also having problems with Blogger uploading photos, this was quoted from the Blogger Team which enabled me to post today!!  "In the meantime, you can work around this issue by using a different browser (such as Chrome or Firefox) or temporarily switching to the Edit HTML mode of the compose editor."  I wrote in the compose mode then posted the photo under HTML.

Look Straight Ahead

"Look Straight Ahead"
Judy Royal Glenn Photography

Happy New Year to everyone!  I thought this photograph was very appropriate to post today.  The lone flower stands strong even though all around it there is no life.   No matter how hard or easy 2012 was we can fix our eyes forward and press on:)

"Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you."  (NLT, Proverbs 4.25)
